I found my love of writing through unusual channels.  Often life it's about the journey and not about the destination. That's why Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy is such a good book.  I became a copywriter working as an account executive at a mid- sized radio cluster in Bloomington IL.  Fortunately, Account Executives there also wrote and conceptualized all ad campaigns which introduced me to the wonderful world of advertising.  

 

I believe today is the most exciting time to be in the advertising field, where people have a direct relationship with brands, and almost anything can be advertising.  I love being in an industry where innovation and creativity can truly thrive.

 

Standup comedy is my favorite hobby and the best way in my opinion to hone comedy writing.  You might be wondering,

 

"Are you actually funny?" 

 

Not to sound cocky but I did win the 2015 Bonkers Comedy Competition in the Pro Division against 100 other talented comedians.
